Pirate's Choice
Inspired by the album of the same name, Pirate’s Choice starts smooth with a hint of acidity, a bold, earthy body, and a dark chocolate finish that lingers long after the last drop. To achieve a profile reminiscent of the African/Afro-Cuban musical style of Orchestra Baobab we combined coffee from two countries in Central America, two in Africa, and one in South America at three different roast levels. We discovered the album during a morning roasting session, and were inspired to create this roast as a result. We hope you enjoy Pirate’s Choice as much as we do.
